Official Bio

Jessie Rosen is an east coast-raised, west coast-based writer, producer, educator and speaker.

In 2007 Jessie created the blog 20-Nothings – named a TIME Top 25 Blog, Forbes Top 100 Website for Women & Top 10 Website for Millennials.

Jessie’s writing soon expanded to film and television with work. She has sold original projects to Warner Brothers Television, ABC Studios, CBS Studios, Netflix and YouTube TV.

In 2015, she released the novel, DEAD RINGER – a YA thriller – through James Frey’s publishing company, Full Fathom Five.

In addition to her writing, Rosen created the live storytelling series, SUNDAY NIGHT SEX TALKS – true stories of sex, love and intimacy. Performers included Michelle Buteau, Rachel Bloom, Cindy Chupack, Natasha Rothwell, Guy Branum and 180 more. The show was performed at Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in Los Angeles and featured as a date on ABC’s The Bachelorette delivering them their highest rated episode of the season.

In 2018 Jessie was tapped by Brat Inc. – YouTube’s #1 teen-leaning studio – to develop their writers’ room and content creation process for all scripted programming. She oversaw seven original series from concept through delivery, more than 75 episodes of content.

Jessie followed that by showrunning three seasons of The Baxters – a ½ hour dramedy for MGM and Will Packer Media, which ultimately landed on Amazon, becoming a Top 7 series at premiere. She oversaw all writing, then production for 101 days of location-based shooting in Los Angeles, completing a total of 36 episodes of television in 11 months.

In 2023 she returned to novel writing, selling her manuscript THE HEIRLOOM to Putnam at Penguin Random House in a pre-empt and securing a two-book deal. The novel became an instant National best-seller on release. Her sophomore novel, ALL THE SIGNS, was another immediate USA Today best-seller.

Jessie resides physically in Los Angeles and mentally in New York City. She is currently at work on a third novel and her growing Substack.
